Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 3 May 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website cargenix.uk and all freight coordination services provided by THE REZI GROUP LTD (trading as "Cargenix"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17130252, with its registered office at Flat 74, Point Royal, Rectory Lane, Bracknell, United Kingdom, RG12 7HL.
By submitting a quote request, placing a booking, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our services.
2. Nature of Our Services
THE REZI GROUP LTD operates as a transport coordination agent. We do not own, operate, or lease any vehicles. We arrange road freight movements within the United Kingdom on your behalf by connecting you with vetted, independent carrier partners.
Our services include:
- Receiving and processing freight quote requests
- Sourcing appropriate carriers from our vetted network
- Providing itemised quotes for your approval
- Booking and coordinating collections and deliveries on your behalf
- Providing a dedicated account manager as your single point of contact
- Arranging shipment tracking and documentation (proof of delivery)
We act solely as an intermediary. The contract of carriage is between you and the carrier. THE REZI GROUP LTD is not a party to the contract of carriage and does not accept liability as a carrier.
3. How Orders Are Placed
3.1 Quote request
You may request a quote by completing the form on our website, by emailing [email protected], by calling 07735 383 798, or via WhatsApp. Submitting a quote request does not commit you to any booking or payment.
3.2 Quote and confirmation
We aim to return a clear, itemised quote within one working day of receiving your request. The quote will include:
- Service type and vehicle class
- Collection and delivery details
- Price breakdown (all figures quoted ex VAT unless stated otherwise)
- Estimated collection and delivery timeframes
- Any special conditions or surcharges
A booking is confirmed only when you expressly accept the quote in writing (email, WhatsApp message, or other written confirmation). Verbal instructions may be followed up with a written confirmation request at our discretion.
3.3 Accuracy of information
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding your shipment, including cargo weight, dimensions, collection and delivery addresses, access requirements, and any hazardous or restricted goods. Incorrect or incomplete information may result in amended pricing, re-routing, or cancellation of the booking.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are guide rates, exclusive of VAT, and are subject to change based on the specific details of each shipment (exact postcodes, cargo weight, access requirements, service level, and current fuel surcharges). The final, binding price is the one stated in the accepted quote.
4.2 Payment terms
Payment for services is made by invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are due within 7 days of the invoice date. We may require payment in advance for first-time customers or high-value bookings.
Accepted payment methods will be stated on the invoice and may include bank transfer and Revolut Business payment links.
4.3 Late payment
If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to:
- Charge interest at the statutory rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998
- Suspend further bookings until the outstanding balance is cleared
- Refer the debt to a collections agency or take legal action
5. Delivery and Fulfilment
5.1 Service process
Once you accept a quote and the booking is confirmed, the typical fulfilment process is as follows:
- Booking confirmed — we assign a carrier from our vetted network and confirm collection details with you.
- Collection — the carrier collects the goods from the agreed address on the agreed date. You (or your representative at the collection point) must ensure goods are properly packaged, labelled, and ready for loading.
- Transit — goods are transported to the delivery address. Where available, we provide tracking updates through your account manager.
- Delivery — goods are delivered to the agreed address. Proof of delivery (POD) is obtained and forwarded to you.
5.2 Timeframes
Estimated collection and delivery timeframes are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed unless a timed or guaranteed service has been explicitly quoted and confirmed. Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including traffic, weather, carrier capacity, and access restrictions.
5.3 Failed collections or deliveries
If a collection or delivery cannot be completed because the goods are not ready, the address is inaccessible, or no one is available to receive the goods, the carrier may charge a wasted journey fee. This cost will be passed on to you.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
6.1 Cancellation by you
- Before carrier dispatch: If you cancel a confirmed booking before the carrier has been dispatched, no cancellation fee applies.
- After carrier dispatch: If the carrier has already been dispatched to the collection point, a cancellation fee may apply. This will typically reflect the carrier's wasted journey cost and will be communicated to you before being charged.
- After collection: Once goods have been collected, cancellation is not possible. The full quoted price applies.
6.2 Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel a booking if:
- The information you provided is materially inaccurate
- The goods turn out to be prohibited, hazardous, or otherwise unsuitable for the service booked
- No suitable carrier is available for the requested route and timeframe
- Payment has not been received where advance payment was required
In such cases, any advance payment will be refunded in full.
6.3 Refunds
Where a refund is due (e.g., service not rendered, cancellation before dispatch, or overcharge), we will process the refund within 14 working days to the original payment method. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us at [email protected] with your booking reference and details of your claim.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our role
THE REZI GROUP LTD acts as a coordination agent only. We are not the carrier. Liability for loss of, damage to, or delay of goods in transit rests with the carrying haulier under their standard trading conditions (typically the RHA Conditions of Carriage or CMR Convention, as applicable).
7.2 Carrier insurance
All carriers in our network are required to hold valid goods-in-transit (GIT) insurance. However, carrier liability is subject to limitations set out in their trading conditions and may not cover the full value of your goods.
7.3 Recommendation
For high-value, fragile, or irreplaceable goods, we strongly recommend that you arrange your own separate cargo insurance through a specialist broker before transit.
7.4 Limitation of our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, THE REZI GROUP LTD's total liability arising from or in connection with our coordination services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific booking in question. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of goodwill.
8. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
8.1 How to raise a complaint
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible:
- Email: [email protected]
- Phone: 07735 383 798
Please include your booking reference, a description of the issue, and any supporting evidence (photographs of damage, delivery receipts, etc.).
8.2 Our response
We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and aim to provide a full response or resolution within 10 working days. If a claim involves the carrier, additional time may be required while we liaise with them on your behalf.
8.3 Escalation
If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may seek independent advice or pursue the matter through the courts of England and Wales.
9. Your Obligations
- Provide accurate information about your cargo, including weight, dimensions, and any special handling requirements.
- Ensure goods are properly packaged and labelled for transit.
- Disclose any hazardous, restricted, or high-value items before booking.
- Ensure someone is available at the collection and delivery addresses at the agreed times.
- Pay invoices by the due date.
- Notify us promptly of any changes to a booking (dates, addresses, cargo details).
10. Prohibited and Restricted Goods
We do not arrange transport for the following categories of goods:
- Illegal substances or contraband
- Firearms, weapons, or ammunition (without valid licence and prior arrangement)
- Live animals
- Human remains
- Unpackaged or inadequately packaged liquids
- Items prohibited by UK law from being transported by road
Hazardous goods (ADR-classified) may be arranged subject to prior agreement and appropriate carrier availability. You must declare hazardous goods at the time of your quote request.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of THE REZI GROUP LTD and is protected by UK intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site without our prior written consent.
12. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, government actions, pandemics, road closures, or carrier insolvency.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For existing confirmed bookings, the Terms in effect at the time of booking confirmation shall apply.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
